The National Museum of the Marine Corps is a lasting tribute to U.S. Marines - past, present and future. World-class interactive exhibits using the most innovative technology surround visitors with irreplaceable artifacts and immerse them in the sights and sounds of Marines in action.
The Marine Corps Heritage Foundation, the Museum's non-profit partner, provides enhancement opportunities for visiting groups. The Foundation’s team assists with the planning and coordinating of meal requests, providing pricing information for the Laser Simulated Rifle Range, and securing tickets for screenings of the Medal of Honor Theater's signature film We, the Marines.
Request a Group Visit
Reservations are requested for all groups wishing to visit the Museum to help ensure the highest quality experience for everyone. Please submit the appropriate visit request form if your group:
- Includes more than 25 people
- Will be arriving by motorcoach, school bus, or 15-passenger van
- Is seeking an educational or learning experience
- Is interested in meals, movies, or other enhancements

Adult Groups
Daytime adult group visits are enhanced by a variety of available offerings. The Marine Corps Heritage Foundation’s Group Visits Department is available to assist with coordinating your itinerary while visiting the Museum.
From guided tour requests and meal options to tickets for the Medal of Honor Theater and Laser Simulated Rifle Range, our team is ready to help create a memorable experience for your guests.
If your group would like a guided tour, please specify an area of interest and your desired tour timeframe when submitting your request. A minimum of 2- hours is recommended to experience Museum highlights.
Please note that tours are filled on a voluntary basis and cannot be guaranteed.

After-Hours Museum Experience
The Marine Corps Heritage Foundation’s Events Department assists all groups in planning a private, all-inclusive evening of history, learning, and discovery. After-hours programs offer groups an exclusive opportunity to explore the Museum’s galleries, dine in a mess-hall-themed setting, and experience Marine Corps history in an engaging, memorable way.
Sample Itinerary
- 5:30 PM - A welcome and Museum overview in the Leatherneck Gallery
- 5:45–6:45 PM - Dinner in the Devil Dog Diner
- 6:45–7:20 PM - Screening of We, the Marines at the Medal of Honor Theater
- 7:30–9:00 PM Immersive Gallery Exploration with volunteer docents available to answer questions

Active Duty Groups & Leadership Programs
The Museum's Professional Military Education (PME) & Leadership programs are designed to meet the educational needs of both military and civilian groups. Sessions typically last 2- hours and can be adjusted in length or content to meet group requirements.
If you are visiting with a military unit or schoolhouse, Recruiting Command, first responders, educators, corporate groups, scouts, JROTC, please submit a PME/Leadership reservation form.

Student Groups
Daytime student group visits (between 9AM - 5PM) are supported by the Museum’s Education Branch, which develops educational materials and conducts educational programs designed for teachers, students, families and scouts.
If you are visiting from a public school, private school, homeschool group, youth-focused tour company, Scouts, or Young Marines, please submit a Student Group reservation form.
Museum Key Details
- Open 9:00 am - 5:00 pm every day, except Thanksgiving and Christmas (December 25).
- FREE admission and parking with ample on-site bus parking.
- Located Immediately located off I-95, exit 150 in Triangle (Quantico), Virginia 1775 Semper Fidelis Way, Triangle, VA 22172.
- Many Accessibility accommodations are available, including wheelchairs, at no cost. Fully accessible with elevators and seating areas throughout.
- Explore Semper Fidelis Memorial Park, featuring monuments, paved walking paths lined with commemorative bricks and peaceful reflection areas.
- The Museum’s immersive galleries are self-guided, allowing visitors to explore at their own pace. Expertly trained Docents are stationed throughout the Museum to enhance your experience. Tours available upon request.
- Two dining locations on the 2nd deck with additional private catering options.
- Large format theater with destination film.
- Laser Simulated Rifle Range in the Making Marines Gallery.
- Especially curated merchandise available at the Museum Store.
