About the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation

The Marine Corps Heritage Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the history, traditions, and culture of the United States Marine Corps. Through support for the National Museum of the Marine Corps, educational programs, historical preservation, and public outreach, the Foundation ensures that the legacy of America’s Marines is shared with generations to come.

The Foundation led the fundraising and construction of the National Museum of the Marine Corps — a world-class facility made possible through the generous support of our donors. Thanks to this extraordinary investment, the Museum now serves as the permanent home for the Marine Corps story, drawing millions of visitors from around the world.

The Foundation is headquartered inside the Museum located in Triangle, Virginia, just outside Marine Corps Base Quantico. As a national leader in honoring Marine Corps service through storytelling, scholarship, and celebration, we invite all Americans to connect with the history and values of the Corps.
