A Historic Promotion to Close Out the Year

On December 31, 2025, Colonel Jonathan H. Vaughn was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General in a ceremony held at the National Museum of the Marine Corps. The promotion was officiated by Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps, General Bradford J. Gering, and attended by distinguished leaders including General Christopher J. Mahoney.

It was an honor to host this momentous occasion at the Museum as the Corps celebrates 250 years of legacy and leadership.
