Your Museum.

Your Memories.

Your Story.

Help Us Celebrate 20 Years of the National Museum of the Marine Corps

For nearly twenty years, the National Museum of the Marine Corps has welcomed millions of visitors from across the nation and around the world. Since opening its doors on November 10, 2006, the Museum has served as a place of remembrance, reflection, education, and inspiration—preserving the stories of Marines and sharing their legacy with future generations.

As we prepare to celebrate the Museum’s 20th Anniversary, we invite you to help tell the story of the last two decades through your own experiences.

Whether you attended the Grand Opening, visited with family, participated in a military ceremony, volunteered as a docent, explored the galleries with classmates, or simply spent time reflecting on the sacrifices of Marines, your memories are part of the Museum’s history.

We are collecting photographs and personal stories from visitors to create a special anniversary slideshow and digital gallery that showcases the impact the National Museum of the Marine Corps has had on Marines, veterans, families, and visitors over the past twenty years.

We Want to Hear From You

If you have visited the National Museum of the Marine Corps over the last 20 years, we want you to share:

- Photos from your visits to the Museum
- Family memories and traditions
- Military ceremonies and special events
- School field trips and educational experiences
- Volunteer and docent memories
- Reflections on what the Museum means to you

Every photo tells a story. Every memory helps preserve the legacy of the National Museum of the Marine Corps.

Thank you for helping us celebrate twenty years of honoring Marines and preserving their history.
