Amphibious Tractor Memorial Groundbreaking Gallery

On October 23, 2025, the National Museum of the Marine Corps hosted a ceremonial groundbreaking for the new Amphibious Tractor Memorial at Semper Fidelis Memorial Park, marking the beginning of construction for the tribute honoring Marines who have served with U.S. Marine Corps landing and amphibious assault vehicles since 1942. Members of the Amphibious Tractor Association, Marine Corps Heritage Foundation, and the broader Amtrac community gathered alongside Museum leadership to commemorate the legacy of these Marines and launch a memorial designed to educate the public and provide a place of reflection for veterans, families, and visitors.
