  National Museum of the Marine Corps
Oct 18 Beirut: 25th Anniversary, a Retrospective
Cocktail hour:  5:30 – 6:30 PM

Join us as we honor the 25th anniversary of the service and sacrifice of the Marines, Soldiers and Sailors who served in Lebanon twenty-five years ago. The evening will feature a panel discussion of the events which led up to the suicide bomber attack on the headquarters of the 1st Battalion, 8th Marines.
 
The evening will begin with cocktail hour on the Overlook, followed by a buffet dinner in the Mess Hall and the panel discussion in the Leatherneck Gallery, featuring several distinguished guests, including former Commandant, General P.X. Kelly USMC (Ret), the Marine Expeditionary Unit Commander, the Battalion Commander, and a Company Commander. Seating is limited.
