Leatherneck Gallery (Atrium)
Underneath the soaring glass canopy, the Leatherneck Gallery gives visitors a dramatic introduction to the Marine experience. The gallery features suspended aircraft, a massive granite wall engraved with famous Marine quotes and images and an exhibit depicting the first helicopter deployment of combat troops in Korea. |

Legacy Walk
For viewers with limited time, the Legacy Walk distills each era of Marine history into its essential moments, with timelines that trace the contributions of the Marines alongside American and world history. Maps of Marine deployments, helicopters and other artifacts, recruiting posters, and media alcoves all contribute to the condensed portrait of each epoch. |

Era Galleries
For those with a deeper interest in Marine Corps history, the era galleries offer a captivating array of multimedia exhibits. From the revolutionary War to the Vietnam War, each era gallery allows visitors to explore the defining times of more than two hundred years of American and Marine Corps history. |

Boot Camp Experience
In this exhibit, visitors will see the transformation of raw civilian recruits into a team of men and women warriors. |

Immersion Exhibits
Immersion exhibits allow visitors to step into the scene of Marine missions, from a D-Day landing craft at Iwo Jima to a helicopter airlift at Khe Sanh, Vietnam. |

Scuttlebutt Theater
Up to 100 visitors will receive their first introduction to the Marine experience in this sloped-floor, flat screen theater with a short film that captures the Marine spirit. |

Orientation Film
This powerful film uses Marines' voices to reveal their esprit de corps, what sets the Marines apart, and what links these warriors of the past and present together. |

Tableau Rails
Several tableau exhibits use settings and artifacts to put a human scale on the Marine experience at home and abroad. Each tableau is surrounded by a small railing, upon which an interpretive text plaque offers another donor recognition opportunity. |

Each of these intimate exhibits of one to three people scenes suggest a particular historical area and relate to the major exhibits in the gallery. |

Media Presentations
Media will play a major role in telling the Marine Corps story. Interactive combat locator maps will help visitors find specific engagements, galleries feature multimedia primers on each era, and object theaters use imagery and audio to recreate key moments in history. |
